The Cochrane Fair consists of a multitude of family friendly events and entertainment including: a midway, mini-chuck wagon races, pony rides, horse events, a performing clown, kids rodeo events, a pet show, a petting zoo, bunny agility performers and also offers a mechanical bull and a family friendly beer garden.

OPEN FARM DAYS: Come for the equestrian demonstrations plus other farm animals including goats, bees, llamas, pigs, sheep, and cattle.

The Priddis & Millarville Fair is one of Southern Alberta’s oldest and largest country fairs. Located at the Millarville Racetrack and co-hosted with the Millarville Farmers’ Market, the Fair is the place to come to learn about Alberta’s agricultural history, touch the animals, view the creations of local artisans, gardeners, photographers and wood workers. We have antique tractors, cars and trucks that span generations, horse riding events of all types, and contests – pie eating, rooster crowing, watermelon eating, youth talent.

Alberta Open Farm Days - GRAND TASTE TOUR 2017

August 19th we will be heading to Lacombe! Busses will depart from Calgary and Edmonton.

Alberta Open Farm Days, Taste Alberta and 124 Grand Market are pleased to be introducing this year's Grand Taste tour as a part of Alberta Open Farm Days!

The Grand Taste Tour is an interactive, educational experience that will celebrate and promote local food grown and raised in central Alberta. On August 19 participants will be engaged in guided food tours including producers from outside our City's limits. Featuring tastings and other educational tidbits you will NOT want to miss!

Partners for this year include Doef's Greenhouses Ltd., Rock Ridge Dairy, Blindman Brewing & more!  The evening will conclude with a beautiful greenhouse dinner prepared by Chef Liana Robberecht of WinSport's Canada Olympic Park.  Tickets include transportation from drop-point within City limits, one snack and a meal. Alcoholic beverages and pairings available at additional cost.  Orientation information, including parking and pickup instructions will be emailed to all confirmed guests 5 days prior to your event.  Menu will accommodate both omnivores and vegetarians. Unfortunately we will not be able to comply with other dietary restrictions. Sorry for the inconvenience.
