Dewberry and District Ag Society

The Dewberry Agricultural Society is a non-profit Alberta Registered Society formed in 1972 and became a Registered Charity in 1979. We are the volunteer organization that helps bring the “spirit of country” to town and have become the major social event organizers in our area. Some of our activities include playing host to community holiday celebrations, agricultural information sessions, children’s Christmas parties, celebrations for individual and team championships, and evenings to promote togetherness and community pride.

Our organizations major financial commitment is to the operation and maintenance of the Dewberry Ice Arena. The ice arena is home to the unrivaled champions of the SaskAlta Hockey league Dewberry Mustangs as well as several minor hockey and recreational hockey teams. We are also offer a figure skating/Canskate program and are used as a training facility by several competing speed skaters. We have become widely known for the manner in which our association promotes the fun of the sport for all participants.
