- ProfileThe Craigend Recreation and Agriculture Society is the local administrating body for recreation in the Craigend Recreation Area. The Society consists of a 16-member board with positions for president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, and twelve directors. All positions are elected at the annual meeting in December and are open to any community member.The main objective of the Society is to adequately plan recreational activities and to effectively manage facilities for the Craigend residents.The Craigend Recreation and Agricultural Society will achieve the Mission Statement (see below) by working closely with Youth Groups, Senior Groups, Local Organizations, the Local Business Community and the Local Agricultural Community. All Members of the Community and adjoining Communities are encouraged to become involved with the Craigend Recreation and Agricultural Society. Through Diversity, We Build Strength in Our Community
