Sundre and District Agricultural Society

The Sundre & District Agriculture Society has been a part of Sundre for close to 100 years.  Many groups are members of the Society including the:

Sundre 4H Multi Club, Silver Spurs, Show and Sale, Bergen 4H Multi Club, Red River 4H Club, Chinook’s Edge Pony Club, Sundre Curling Club, Sundre Aquatic Society, Sundre Garden Club, Sundre Chamber, Sundre Rodeo Assoc, Mountain View High School Rodeo Assoc, Sundre Light Horse Assoc, Bergen Farmers’ Market, and Sundre Farmers’ Market.  The Society partners with these groups throughout the year on their different events.

Sundre is a town in central Alberta, Canada. It is located in Mountain View County, 100 km northwest from Calgary, along the Cowboy Trail in the Canadian Rockies foothills. Sundre takes its name from a town in Norway, the original home of Nels T. Hagen, the town’s first postmaster
