CALL OUT FOR PERFORMERS
We have various Showcase acts throughout the weekend where entertainers could be on our stage for the Ag Societies to see them perform. Showcasing at the AAAS Convention is an opportunity to help artists build a grassroots following by helping them get into towns and festivals within the local communities. Showcasing your act allows you to reach a wider audience and gain exposure to new fans, followers, and industry professionals. By showcasing your band, you can increase your visibility and potentially attract the attention of over 300 event organizers, venues, booking agencies, and other important players in the event industry.Â
HOW TO APPLY
- Fill out the application form.
- Submit a video of a recent live performance, a brief bio, and a setlist for your 20-minute performance.
- Our selection committee will review applications, and successful applicants will be notified. Once you have been selected you will receive an invoice that will need to be paid upon receipt to confirm your admission into the Showcase.
- Deadline: October 31, 2024 or until full

Main Stage Showcase Opportunity
We are excited to offer a select number of talented musicians the chance to perform a **20-minute set** on the Main Stage at our upcoming convention. This is your opportunity to showcase your skills, connect with a live audience of approximately 400 people, and gain exposure in front of industry professionals and people hiring entertainment for the Ag Society functions.
What We’re Looking For:
- Entertainers, Musicians and bands from all genres with a passion for live performance.
- A well-prepared, high-energy set that engages the audience.
- Original music or unique interpretations of covers.
Each act will have 30 minutes on the Main Stage, including setup and breakdown time. Suggested: 5 Minutes set up, 20 minute entertainment, 5 minutes breakdown.
The Main Stage Showcase will have professional sound and lighting to ensure your performance shines.

Acoustic Showcase Opportunity for Musicians
We're excited to announce a NEW opportunity for talented musicians to perform at the Acoustic Stage! This event is designed to highlight the raw, unplugged talent of emerging and established artists alike.

- Format: Acoustic (no backing tracks, minimal amplification)

We're looking for dynamic and engaging performers to take to the platform for a 20-minute set during our convention. This is your chance to showcase your talent to a diverse audience, including industry professionals, fans, and fellow artists. We're seeking acts that can captivate and entertain with originality, energy, and stage presence. If you are a unique act that defies categorization, we want to see what you've got!

VIDEO SHOWCASE:
We are excited to see your talent and passion shine! This video showcase is an opportunity for you to present your skills, creativity, and unique personality. Please follow the guidelines below to ensure your submission reflects your best self.
Video Requirements:
1. Introduction (30-60 seconds):
- Start with a brief introduction of yourself. Include your name, background, and what makes you passionate about your craft.
2. Showcase Your Talent (2-3 minutes):
- Demonstrate your skills in a way that highlights your strengths. Whether it's performing, creating, or demonstrating a skill, this is your moment to impress.
3. Personal Touch (30-60 seconds):
- Share a personal story or experience that has shaped you in your field. This could be a challenge you've overcome, a significant achievement, or something that motivates you daily.
4. Closing Statement (30-60 seconds):
- Conclude with why you believe you’re a great fit for this opportunity and what you hope to achieve.
Technical Requirements:
Length: 4-5 minutes maximum.
Quality: Ensure good lighting and clear audio. Use a steady camera or phone.
Format: MP4 or MOV preferred.
Deadline: Submit your video by October 31, 2024
